GRAND KNIGHT’S CORNER

January 2025

Brother Knights:

We had a productive January raising money for seminarians.  A hat tip to Bro. Mike Achkar who cooked up a superb Greek lasagna for the social.  A second hello to those of you who attended the various Walk for Life observances in San Jose and San Francisco.  The laws of man have changed in the Culture of Life, some for the good and some, as in California, for the bad.  We cannot eliminate the scourge of abortion by human laws alone but by changing and softening hearts with the aid of Divine Love.   As a reminder, our Zoom rosary at eight o’clock has been a going concern since the Pandemic. Make it a habit to pray the rosary with your Brother Knights and their families for 20 minutes every day.  The Zoom setting is in the calendar section of this newsletter.  

Our Insurance Agent, Bro. Joseph Ayroso, at our February 5 business meeting will conduct a Benefits Night.  Bring your wives, friends and families, Knights and non-Knights, for a gratis dinner and presentation to learn about all the financial and insurance options that the Knights offer.  KofC adheres to Catholic values in achieving investment performance, a strategy most investment houses ignore.  Make your money promote your values, not help tear them down.
