GRAND KNIGHT’S CORNER

November 2024

Brother Knights:

First off, congratulations and thank you!  The council has distinguished itself in October with a successful PWID drive.  Despite manning only one storefront we are in the 5K range thus far.  Much of this was due, of course, to your generous response to my affectionately browbeating letter.  You came through.  The record for PWID contributions by our council is in the 7K range and we can reach that by the end of the Columbian year if we go for it.  Bless you!

 

Second, the Respect Life Mass and banquet for Guadalupe Hope Society was a smashing success thanks to assistance from many of our Brother Knights from our council and others.  So many Brothers are worthy of individual recognition but cannot be mentioned due to lack of space for being cooks, servers, bartenders and cleanup.   Bravo!

November is an important month for our Turkey fundraiser.  Please attend our 11/16 potluck social.  Prepare a tasty dish for four and usher in the coming holiday season.  The annual Memorial Mass will be held the same day at 12:30.  All are invited to attend Mass and pray for the souls of our departed Brothers.
