Brother Knights:

As Easter approaches let’s prepare for the Church’s greatest feast by prayerful focus in the remaining weeks of Lent.  One way to accomplish this is to attend the Council’s Lenten soup nights at the hall.  Enjoy a delicious soup and pray the rosary either in person or by Zoom.  This month we have major events that need manpower and volunteer hours.  The first is the Birthright state conference at St. Frances Cabrini on 4/12.  We need cooks, setup people and servers.  On 4/27 we’ll have a Wheelchair Sunday drive at St. Mary’s coupled with a pancake breakfast.   This can be a major recruitment drive resource.  The more Brothers are visible, the better, but we need more than a few Brothers to participate.   If you haven’t been in the game this year, this is the month to do so.

Finally, please note there will be no social this month since it falls on Holy Saturday.   Attend Easter Vigil services or contemplate quietly at home.

Let’s strengthen our council with new blood.   The end of the Columbian Year is in sight.  Let’s finish strong.
